Black Rhino Game Reserve
Black Rhino Game Reserve is located at the foot of an ancient volcanic crater that today comprises one of South Africa’s most exciting Big Five ecotourism destinations – the Greater Pilanesberg National Park. This game reserve is Big Five territory at its best and it is here that you very quickly learn to expect the unexpected. The reserve is strategically located 33km north of the entrance to Sun City. The most remarkable feature of this reserve is the 1200 million year old volcano crater with Mankwe Lake found in the centre. A game ranger, dedicated to the lodge, will help you discover the true and magnificent magic of the African bush as you explore a 58 000ha malaria free wildlife wonderland. The Park also offers a number of picnic spots, numerous hides for game watching, a walk-in aviary, safari game drives and hot air balloon flights.
